Hi! I’m Ursula, the Mommy behind the Diatribes
A few quick facts about me? I married my college sweetheart over 9 years ago (wow!). We have 3 young children – Faith (5), Fara (3) and Ben (21 months). After the baby was born I left my career in the Pharma industry behind and became a SAHM. Those babies fuel this little blog. They are the reason for the Diatribes.
This life is messy, beautiful and chaotic. I’m just trying to survive the toddler years, hanging on by a thread and documenting it all.
About The Blog
You may be thinking, what is a diatribe? Read the definition and it sounds a little harsh but apply it to motherhood and it makes perfect sense.
Mommy Diatribes is a collection of antidotes and truth-telling. It is motherhood unedited and unfiltered. It is real and raw. So, if you are looking for the colorful truth about parenthood, mixed with some bad language and a little sarcasm, I am your girl.
My hope for Mommy Diatribes? That you – the tired, overwhelmed, underappreciated, sometimes defeated but always grateful, mommy – can relate. Worst case, if I miss the mark, I promise you will be very entertained
