We need our friends. It sounds obvious, right? As women, as mother’s, as humans, we need friendships and connections to get by. As much as we love our children and our husbands or partners, we need more. There, I said it. I know, it’s an awful thing to say out loud but I firmly believe that it is true. I need more and if I had to guess, I bet you do too. I can count my close friends on two ... View Post
Beauty in a Bad Day
Some days are just bad, but not today friends…not today. There is nothing more demotivating than waking up, looking forward to a good day, getting the kids dressed, teeth brushed, breakfast, all of those crazy details and then realizing that everyone is in a shitty mood. While I can’t say that I was able to enjoy the movie, I did learn two valuable and ... View Post
The Hulk
Did you know that I live with the HULK? At least that’s what my toddler becomes when it’s time to change his diaper or clothes… First thing in the morning, around 7:15am, I hear Ben start talking through the monitor. He calls for ‘mommy’ and his ‘ooks,’ which are books in his little language. I look forward to opening his bedroom door every morning and seeing that sweet, smiley, ... View Post
